브라운브레스, 9월27일 5주년 기념 컴필레이션앨범발매
2006년 런칭부터 지금까지 ‘Spread The Message’라는 슬로건 아래 확실한 아이덴티티를 보여주고 있는 Brownbreath의 5주년 기념 컴필레이션 앨범의 발매 날짜와 재킷 디자인, 그리고 세 번째 트랙 ‘Gateway’가 선공개 되었다.
당초 2011년 9월 둘째 주에 발매 예정이었던 브라운브레스의 5주년 기념 컴필레이션 앨범 [Spread The Message]는 한 주 늦춰진 2011년 9월 27일 에 발매된다.또한 기존에 알려졌던 ‘2Cd’형태가 아닌 ‘1Cd + 북클립(36P)’의 형태로 발매될 예정이다.
브라운브레스는이번 5주년 컴필레이션 앨범 [Spread The Message]가 단순히 음악 뿐만 아니라 함께 동봉된 북클립을 통해 청각과 시각이 함께 즐길 수 있는 하나의 작품으로 인식되기 바란다고 전했다. 이를 위해 북클립 디자인 작업에 심혈을 기울였고,부득이하게 발매 날짜를 늦추게 되었다고 브라운브레스 측은 밝혔다.
총 36P에 달하는 브라운브레스 5주년 컴필레이션 앨범 [Spread The Message]의 북클립은앨범 타이틀이자브라운브레스의 슬로건인 ‘Spread The Message’에 맞춰 메시지를 전달하는 수단 중 하나인 ‘포스터’를컨셉으로제작되었다. 북클립에는영감을 받아 포스터(Message)를 제작하고, 이를 부착(Spread)하는 움직임이 시간순으로 정리되어 있다. ‘Sprd The Mssg’는 Spread The Message의 줄임말이다. 북클립과 더불어 각 트랙의 가사집이 투명 필름에 인쇄되어 포함된다.
이 밖에5주년 컴필레이션앨범의 세번째 트랙 [Gate Way]의 음원을선공개한다. [Gate Way :Produced By The Quiett, Lyrics By Dead P]는 지난 브라운브레스 2010 F/W Lookbook의 타이틀 [The Gateway To Mother Nature]에서 따온 것으로 무분별한 개발로 인해 바뀌어가는 도심과 이제는 기억 속에서나 상상될 법한 자연의 이미지를 대비시키고자 하는 메시지가 담겨있다.
